Found these absolutely gorgeous gorgeous "batik" look agate. Initially i wanted to make this into a long necklace (as i always do) but decided otherwise and make this into a short necklace.

Somehow, the color and look of this necklace reminds me of Dr. Brennan in Bones!

Handmade Wire Jewelry Pendant : Metamorphosis of the DRAGONFLY

This Dragonfly born orginally as a pendant and brooch. 

The person intended for this piece, wanted it bigger. 

There are other ways to make it bigger with  bigger wire wings etc BUT just for this one i decided to let the dragonfly land on something instead. 

It is now not suitable as a brooch (the stones added some extra weight)  but i suppose it can be worn as a pendant.

Anyhow, i just love looking at this and decided to share this with you and this baby is now happily residing on my table for my own viewing pleasure :)
