In support for FAIR TRADE

During my trip to Australia, i was made more aware about FAIR TRADE and what it is all about. I bought this wire tree from a fair trade shop.

this wire tree is made by GIVEMORE DIZANUHUPE

Givemore Dizanuhupe learned to create figures from wire at school in his native zimbabwe. 

Forced to flee his homeland under a repressive regime, he now lives in south africa, where he works with his sister and brothers creating these unique pieces of art.

this project simply put,

"Supporting local people to support themselves"
