something old would be me...for i turned another year older...and something new is something i made for myself for my birthday today!

 Its rare for me to twist sterling silver wires but now that i see the result...i think this aint gonna be the last one!

i absolutely love the result and you will be seeing more of this in the future.

 Sterling Silver Jewelry makes  a good keepsake or gifts that you can pass on to generations because its considered a precious metal. The value appreciates.

If it tarnishes, you can buff it up again and give it a good polish...but on the other hand...tarnish just give a more natural vintage effect.

For the piece i made for myself, i oxidized it for the dark sombre effect.

Handmade Wire Jewelry Pendant : Metamorphosis of the DRAGONFLY

This Dragonfly born orginally as a pendant and brooch. 

The person intended for this piece, wanted it bigger. 

There are other ways to make it bigger with  bigger wire wings etc BUT just for this one i decided to let the dragonfly land on something instead. 

It is now not suitable as a brooch (the stones added some extra weight)  but i suppose it can be worn as a pendant.

Anyhow, i just love looking at this and decided to share this with you and this baby is now happily residing on my table for my own viewing pleasure :)

Hi everyone!

I have been pretty quiet this past week but I can assure you i have not been idle at all. 

I have taken the time  to re-check back my blog for listings i have not updated and if you are an online seller, you would understand the time needed to do this.

Even though i still have some pending orders, i have decided to put that on hold a tad bit, with permission of course (notable thank you to Joanna! Yvonne and sandra).

So what have i been up to?

It started with a message i received weeks back by a stranger...and again recently by a dear friend who wanted to get christmas gifts but i was not able to fulfill the requests to see some of my stock coz either its already sold OR i have decided to keep them for myself and already worn them.... hehehe

Therefore i have been busy making little bit of this and that and hope to build a new and bigger collection soon. 

I have another 8 pieces that i havent posted yet, but i can only do so once its approved or not sometime in january.
Meanwhile, i shall be posting some of the pieces i have already made and available.
