Something old something new!
something old would be me...for i turned another year older...and something new is something i made for myself for my birthday today!
Its rare for me to twist sterling silver wires but now that i see the result...i think this aint gonna be the last one!
i absolutely love the result and you will be seeing more of this in the future.

If it tarnishes, you can buff it up again and give it a good polish...but on the other hand...tarnish just give a more natural vintage effect.
For the piece i made for myself, i oxidized it for the dark sombre effect.

ReplyDeleteya...lama jugak ni nak build courage nak work with silver. I try not to think too much about the wastage..especially working with half hard...there were few accidents and wire breakage when it hardened further like crazy towards the end..BUT the result is worth the effort :))
